HISTORY
1956 In the following 5 years a total of 1100 cars were manufactured by AUSA
1961 saw the first compact Dumper on the market

1967 AUSA produced the first compact rough terrain forklift in the world

1969 AUSA opened its first international subsidiary in France.
1975 AUSA started production of the first 4-WD compact dumper and rough-terrain forklift.
1987-88 New subsidiaries were opened in Madrid and the UK.
1990 AUSA signed a distribution agreement with the american skid steer loader manufacturer "Mustang".
1992 The UK group "3i Group PLC" became a shareholder.
1993 The AUSA Compen® 4-WD system was registered
1994-96 AUSA presented its range of CV-CVH 25 forklifts & compact 4-WD dumpers, both awarded at the international exhibition SMOPYC.
1995 Production re-organised around the concept of "Lean Manufacture" with the introduction of the "Kawasaki production system" designed to improve flexibility and delivery time.
1996 AUSA celebrated its 40th anniversary.
1996-97-98 AUSA signed distribution agreements with Japanese engine manufacturer "Isuzu", Italian telescopic handler manufacturer "Italmacchine" and Japanese crawler dumper manufacturer "Canycom".
1997 ISO 9001 certification was awarded and a new information technology system introduced.
1998 AUSA presented its new 2.8 and 3.2 ton rough-terrain forklift.
1998 A new representative office opened in Beijing (P.R. of China).
1999 AUSA starts its way in the US market by naming 2 dealers.
2000 Launch of the new CH130/150 1.3Tn and 1.5Tn forklifts, which receive the maximum awards at SMOPYC and SED fairs.
2001 Launching of the new rough terrain forklifts CH 200/250 with capacity from 2 tons to 2.5 tons
2004 AUSA is awarded the 2004 Technological Innovation reward by the 'Generalitat de Catalunya' through the CIDEM, for the application of the innovation in all its performance environments, for its focusing strategy to market niches products, for its products' high level design and for using the latest organizational techniques. Launching of the Task 50, the newest product of the Multiservice range. Launching of the new 6 tonnage articulated dumper.
2005 The Task 50 is awarded with the Technological Innovation Silver Medal at SMOPYC.
2006 With the year 2006 upon us, there is no end in sight to the train of novelties, amongst which we include the new 3 or 3.5 ton forklift, a machine which was unveiled at CEMAT, and which serves to widen its broad range of lifttrucks. With the new C300H and C350H models, the large family of AUSA lifttrucks is complete.
2006 The company’s 50th anniversary celebration reached its climax on the 3rd November. More than 250 people, including national and international distributors, clients, suppliers and almost 20 journalists, met at the Meliá Hotel in Sitges to hear first hand about the orange brand’s strategy and new products.
2007 AUSA is polishing off the final details for attending the ninth Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition and Seminar (BICES), to be held in Beijing from October 16 to October 19.
2008 Ausa’s Telescopic forklift truck, Taurulift 204H is awakening a great deal of interest in countries in the north of Europe. The response from distributors and customers is a guarantee for heavy penetration in several sectors over the coming months
